Nicotinamide (nicotinamide;niacinamide), also known as nicotinamide, is a nicotinic acid amide compound. [1] White crystalline powder; odorless or almost odorless, bitter; slightly hygroscopic. Soluble in water or ethanol and dissolved in glycerol. It is mainly used to prevent and cure brown skin and stomatitis, glossitis, sick sinoatrial node syndrome, atrioventricular block and so on.
